Description

Teach the definition of landforms? Or take a tour around the world learning about some of our Earth’s most famous landforms? My students preferred the latter, hence why this resource was created.

Your students will take a tour around the world and learn about ten famous landforms from a close reading passage:

★Mount St. Helens – 850L
★The Nile River – 850L
★Mount Everest – 890L
★The Great Plains – 1060L
★Pacific Ocean – 920L
★Grand Canyon – 900L
★Great Lakes – 730L
★Greenland – 730L
★Sahara Desert – 680L
★Chocolate Hills – 780L

Passport Interactive Lapbook Project
Anchor your students learning as they “travel the world.” As they research each destination, they can record facts on an interactive notebook “flippy.” The flippys will then be glued into a file folder or 11×17 piece of paper to make their passport.

Also included is a “mini-booklet” format of all close reading passages. Students can take home the booklet to reinforce their learning from school with their parents!

Download the preview for photographs of all resources included!
