Description
This third grade math resource includes printable and digital math centers that give your third graders practice partitioning shapes into equal parts and identifying unit fractions!
Included in this resource:
- 3 math centers to engage students in practice of CCSS 3.G.2: Partitioning Shapes and Unit Fractions
Scoops of Unit Fractions: Students will match the unit fraction ‘cone’ to the provided ‘ice cream scoops’ with pictured fractions. Recording sheet included for accountability.
Spin & Partition: Students will use a paperclip and pencil to use the spinner on the page. They will partition the shape on the work mat into the number of equal parts and then write the unit fraction. Recording sheet included for accountability. (Answer key not included due to answer variety)
Task Cards (12): Students will answer questions on their recording sheet. Use these as a scoot game or in a center.
