3.NBT.1 – Rounding to the Nearest 10 and 100

  • Rounding to the Nearest 10 – Short Answer (2 quick checks)

  • Rounding to the Nearest 100 – Short Answer (2 quick checks)
  • Rounding to the Nearest 100 – Short Answer (1 quick check)
  • Rounding to the Underlined Place Value (10 or 100) – Short Answer (1 quick check)

3.NBT.2 – Addition Within 1000

  • Addition Within 1000; 3-Digit – Short Answer (3 quick checks)

3.NBT.3 – Subtraction Within 1000

  • One ten-question Google Form quiz asking students to find the difference – no borrowing needed.
  • Two ten-question Google Form quizzes asking students to find the difference – mix of problems requiring borrowing and not requiring borrowing.
  • One ten-question Google Form quiz asking students to find the difference – all equations require students to subtract across zeroes.

3.NBT.3 – Multiplying Multiples of 10

  • Multiply a 2-digit multiple of ten by a 1-digit number (ie: 80×3) and provide the short answer. (4 quick checks)

Important things for you to know:

Each quick check contains 10 questions, plus a field for first and last name.

Assign to your students by sharing the Google Form with them via Google Drive OR by assigning it through Google Classroom.

If you need additional identifying questions (class period, student number etc.), you will be able to add those to fit your needs!

Student responses and scores will populate AUTOMATICALLY in the spreadsheet, leaving more time for you to take care of other tasks.

These 10-question digital quick checks are also great for morning work, homework, and center work.

This resource specifically aligns with the Common Core Standards for 3rd grade, but can be applicable to other standards as they are skill based.
