Description

Engage your students in practice of subtraction across zeros with this fun game! Can be used as a whole group activity or in centers and small groups. Use as morning work, informal assessment, sub plans, and math review.

• 30 unique bingo cards (all equations ask students to subtract across zeroes)
• 1 template for students to create their own bingo card
• Teacher calling card
• Black and white version

Teacher Tips/Suggestions:

• Have students find the difference of each equation before you begin playing.
• For fun, print the black and white versions and let students color them first!
• Slip the bingo cards in a sheet protector and students can mark spaces off with a dry erase marker
• Have students find the difference of each equation and turn in – use as an assessment tool! Pass them back and play.
• Keep completed bingo cards in a folder as early finisher activity. Model how to use the calling card for small group play.
• Keep bingo cards in a sub folder to use as a filler activity when you are absent.
