I found that I didn’t have much time in the day to practice math facts, but my students really needed consistent exposure to them. I created these ‘Brain Buster Bins’ for Fact Fluency as a warm-up activity for my math students. These bins give my students a variety of ways to practice their math facts in a student friendly and engaging way.

Included in this resource:
Printables for Six Fact Fluency ‘Bins’/Centers
-Multiplication facts: Multiply numbers 1-12 to each other. Store sets on a binder ring to organize.
-Division facts: Division for inverse multiplication facts 1-12. Store sets on a binder ring to organize.
-Domino facts: Write the multiplication facts shown on the domino and solve.
-Spin-the-Factors: Spin twice to figure out factors, solve for the product.
-Spin-a-Dividend: Spin the dividend and write the divisor and quotient. Spinners and problem sets for divisors 1-12.
-Fact Families: Students will figure out the factors shown on a card (numbers are written in word form, using tallies, base ten blocks, or ten frames) and then they fill out the fact triangle that would match the factors.

Also included are different recording sheet options. Have your students tally when they do each of your bins so that you can hold them accountable and see that they are practicing their facts in a variety of ways.
