I found that I didn’t have much time in the day to practice math facts, but my students really needed consistent exposure to them. I created these ‘Brain Buster Bins’ for Fact Fluency as a warm-up activity for my math students. These bins give my students a variety of ways to practice their math facts in a student friendly and engaging way.

Included in this resource:
Printables for Six Fact Fluency ‘Bins’/Centers
-Addition facts: Add numbers 1-20 to each other. Store sets on a binder ring to organize.
-Subtraction facts: Subtract numbers 1-20. Store sets on a binder ring to organize.
-Domino facts: Write the addition and subtraction facts shown on the domino and solve.
-Number bond facts: Pick two dice (printouts) and place them on the card, then solve the number bond.
-Spin-a-Fact: Spin facts using the included printout, a paperclip, and a pencil. Solve. Differentiation provided (Add the numbers, write the turnaround fact, and subtract the smaller number from the bigger number)
-Roll-a-Fact: Roll facts using dice. Solve. Differentiation provided (Add the numbers, write the turnaround fact, and subtract the smaller number from the bigger number)

Also included are different recording sheet options. Have your students tally when they do each of your bins so that you can hold them accountable and see that they are practicing their facts in a variety of ways.
